IAA Privacy Statement for Program Application

Your Privacy is Valued

We know how valuable your personal and professional privacy is to you and your program. We recognize that you have an interest in how we collect, retain, and use information about you and your relationship with us. Our systems and polices have been designed to provide protection against unauthorized access to sensitive customer information. The following information details what we have done to address your privacy concerns.

Who Has Access to Information

Individual programs completing a profile will allow the information submitted to become available to the general public. Furthermore, IAA will not display information about individual program needs or challenges to the public. IAA and their affiliates may combine, in a non-identifiable format, the organizational information you provide with information from other users to create aggregate data that does not contain any information that could be used to identify or contact you. This aggregated data can be used to engage and inform civic and community leaders about Iowa afterschool programs' needs and challenges.  We do not sell any information to third party marketing companies.

Security Standards

We have established and continually maintained security standards and procedures to help us protect confidential information from unauthorized access. This includes a server that is housed at a secure co-location environment, which resides behind a firewall that allows limited access based on login and does not allow unidentified access to the environment. Additionally, system monitoring runs at all times to notify the System Administrator of any suspicious activity.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

You hereby agree not to hold IAA, their affiliates, respective officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors and representatives liable for any service(s) delivered which originated through the Website or was otherwise provided by someone affiliated with the Website and you hereby release all such persons from claims, demands and damages (actual or consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.

THE MATERIALS IN THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE PURSUANT TO APPLICABLE LAW. THE IOWA AFTERSCHOOL ALLIANCE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE IAA DOES NOT WARRANT OR REPRESENT THAT THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE WEBSITE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CORRECTLY SEQUENCED, RELIABLE OR TIMELY, OR THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR FREE OF ERRORS AND/OR VIRUSES. YOU HEREBY SPECIFICALLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE IAA AND THEIR RESPECTIVE AGENTS AND EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS OR DIRECTORS AND AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR THE DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS OF THE SITE OR THIRD-PARTIES AND THAT THE RISK OF INJURY FROM THE FOREGOING RESTS ENTIRELY WITH YOU. YOU USE THE SITE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
