Thrive together series
Thrive Together is an initiative aimed to provide six 90-minute live virtual training courses for OST professionals across the state, supplemented with practical toolkits, and connections to national resources.

Iowa youth, and those who care for them, face significant and unique challenges in this post-pandemic world. Typical mental health concerns combined with the isolation and strain caused by COVID and its response, take a toll on mental health and wellbeing.
Out of school time programs can serve as a protective buffer against youth mental health challenges by creating safe, supportive, and connected environments during the critical hours of 3-6 p.m. Thrive Together 2.0 equips providers to recognize trauma, respond with evidence-based practices, and care for their own well-being, building resilience for both staff and youth.
