To achieve its goal of expanding access to high-quality afterschool programs, the Iowa Afterschool Alliance provides professional development and training to help improve and maintain the quality of programming available to children and families.
21CCLC workshops
Every year, the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program in Iowa hosts two regional institutes for out-of-school time professionals to network and learn best practices. These professional development events are held in the summer and fall and cover topics ranging from social and emotional learning, literacy techniques, partnership development, STEM, and more.
